Day Camps

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Day Camp is a fun and active way to keep your child engaged while they are away from school. Campers can expect to participate in crafts, STEM activities, and team sports and games. Each camp will be limited to 20 campers daily.

Camp Bears

This camp offers a positive environment full of experiences including instruction with our golf and tennis staff, supervised swim time, outdoor games, crafts, and science experiments. A lunch and two snacks will be provided. Your camper will also receive a camp shirt!

Registration
Members, registration for day camps is now available through the events module. Please register yourself so you will receive all notifications and we will ask for the name of your camper upon registration. Non-Members may secure their spot by having their sponsored member register through the online calendar.

Family Activities Form
Each family must complete the Family Activities Form once per year prior to participating in any day or summer camps. Click here to submit your form now.

Age Requirement
Camp Bears are open to children ages 6-12.

Camp Capacity
Camp Bears capacity is 30 kids per week.

Time Frame
Camp Bears runs from 9AM-4PM.

Before & After Care
Before Care | 8am-9am - $15 per child
After Care | 4pm-5pm - $15 per child

Pricing
Members: $350/week
Non-members: $400/week

Food
Campers will enjoy two snacks and lunch. We will ensure all snacks and lunch items are nut-free. You are welcome to pack extra snacks for your child; if you choose to do so, please ensure they are nut free. Upon registration, you will be asked about dietary restrictions and allergies for your student.

Cancellations
All cancellations made 1 week from the camp start date will result in a 50% charge to your member account. Any cancellation made within 48 hours or less will result in a full member charge. Children removed from camp due to behavioral issues will incur a full member charge.


2024 Camp Bears Schedule

June 10-14: Superhero

During this camp, we will be going on a superhero adventure once we pick our superhero name and superpower. We will have to go on missions around Longview to fight crime and protect the neighborhood.

June 17-21: STEM

This week will provide our campers with an exciting opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through different challenges, including making our own catapults.

June 24-28: Sports

At this camp, the kids will explore different sports and be able to compete in a variety of sports. We will learn good sportsmanship and the rules of the game.

July 1-5: NO CAMP DUE TO JULY 4TH

July 8-12: Willy Wonka

Campers will use their sweet tooth to create some delicious treats and enjoy a week of candy-themed fun activities!

July 15-19: Animal

We will be exploring an in-depth look at a variety of animals during this week, and we will be using games and activities to learn all about them.

July 22-26: Around the World

At camp this week, we will take a look at other countries of the world and partake in different cultural activities and celebrations.

July 29 – August 2: Arts & Crafts

During this week of camp, we will be working on art projects and homemade gifts as we enter the arts and crafts world!

August 5-9: Fairy Tales & Fiction

Calling all princes and princesses! We will explore the fairy tale world of dragons and mermaids as our imaginations run wild this week!

August 12-16: Secret Agent

Do you have the skills to become a secret agent? This week we will be testing all of our spy skills to become Longview’s top secret agents!

August 19-23: Mad Scientist

This week, campers will explore the elements of science through group experiments and hands on activities.

Similar to Camp Bears, this camp offers a positive environment full of experiences such as outdoor games, crafts, and science experiments. A morning snack will be provided. Your camper will also receive a camp shirt!
